Vault Hold – Terms & Conditions

By selecting Vault Hold — Ship Later, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1) Nature of Vault Hold Service

Vault Hold is a storage and order consolidation service offered by Castro Collects, LLC. By selecting this option, you acknowledge that your items will not ship immediately and will instead be held for a limited period.

2) Storage Period

Items may be held for up to 30 days from the date of purchase or last added item.

We reserve the right to:

  • limit storage duration at our discretion
  • require shipment at any time
  • refuse extended holding requests

3) Shipping & Fees

Shipping is not included at the time of purchase when Vault Hold is selected.

You agree that:

  • shipping, insurance, and handling fees will be charged separately prior to shipment
  • orders will not ship until such charges are paid in full

We reserve the right to:

  • invoice shipping at any time
  • ship items at our discretion, either:
    • at our expense, or
    • at the customer’s expense (including charging the original payment method where permitted)

4) Future Fees & Service Changes

We reserve the right to introduce storage fees, subscription fees, or other charges for Vault services at any time with notice.

Continued use of Vault services after such notice constitutes acceptance of any updated fees.

5) Customer Responsibility & Chargebacks

By selecting Vault Hold, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • your order has been fulfilled as a storage service upon purchase
  • delayed shipment is initiated at your request
  • you remain responsible for all shipping and related charges

You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes based on:

  • delayed shipment
  • storage duration
  • separate shipping charges
  • or misunderstanding of Vault Hold terms

Any chargeback or dispute may result in:

  • immediate suspension of Vault privileges
  • refusal of future service
  • collection actions where permitted

6) Bulk Shipping / Buyout Requests

Customers may request a bulk shipment or buyout quote at any time.

We reserve the right to:

  • provide discounted, adjusted, or standard shipping pricing at our discretion
  • accept or decline bulk shipment or buyout requests
  • set minimums, conditions, or timelines for such requests

7) Abandonment (Texas Compliance)

If items remain unclaimed and shipping invoices remain unpaid for 30 days or more after notice, items may be considered abandoned property to the extent permitted under applicable Texas law.

In such cases, Castro Collects, LLC reserves the right to:

  • charge storage or administrative fees
  • resell items to recover costs
  • apply proceeds toward outstanding balances
  • retain or dispose of items where permitted by law

You waive any claim to abandoned items to the fullest extent allowed under Texas law.

8) Risk & Liability

While we take reasonable care in storing items, storage is provided at your risk unless otherwise stated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • liability is limited to the original purchase price of the item
  • we are not responsible for market fluctuations, grading outcomes, or manufacturer defects

9) Account Standing & Access

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke Vault access at any time for:

  • non-payment
  • chargebacks
  • abusive behavior
  • fraud or suspected fraud

10) Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Vault Hold constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
